Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kirill Berkut (ranked 2084 p4p, 3194 weight class) and Darren Tolbert (ranked 176 p4p, 258 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kirill Berkut! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Darren Tolbert! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Berkut shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Berkut not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Tolbert has hold of Berkut's hands but Berkut slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Tolbert tries to get to full guard but Berkut has control of the leg. Berkut throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Berkut prevents Tolbert from improving his position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Berkut controlling the action here. We've been hearing that Berkut has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Berkut looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tolbert with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
