Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lyman Hicks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 23 - 1, fighting out of London, Bruce White Jr!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hicks throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hicks takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
White Jr misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hicks.
Hicks takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hicks dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hicks swings for the body but White Jr moves out of range.
Hicks misses with a body shot.
Hicks lands a lovely overhand right.
Hicks seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
White Jr scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Hicks is rocked!
Hicks fakes high and swings low for a body shot but White Jr manages to avoid it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from White Jr! But no joy.
Oh Hicks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
White Jr steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hicks.
White Jr swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hicks.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
White Jr wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hicks loads up on a big right hand but White Jr slips the punch.
Hicks swings away with a body shot that misses
and White Jr counters with a straight that turns Hicks's legs to rubber! White Jr pushes forward with more strikes and Hicks goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce White Jr!
