The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nomura ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nomura takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nomura is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Gebhardt to keep the fight standing.
Nomura escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Nomura counters with a nice uppercut.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gebhardt wants to stand but Nomura is controlling the position.
Nomura forces his way into half guard.
Nomura is keen to just control but Gebhardt is a slippery customer.
Nomura is working for a submission of some sort.
Gebhardt wants to get back to his feet.

Nomura seems to be working for a kimura but Gebhardt defends the submission attempt.

Nomura throws a good cross that connects.
Gebhardt throws a lazy right hand but Nomura sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Nomura takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

and Nomura counters with a stiff right hand.
Nomura showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gebhardt.
Nomura swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Gebhardt walks into a stiff left hand from Nomura.

Nomura is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Nomura shuts the power down on Gebhardt. Lights out, game over! Nomura is your winner.
