Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean Paul Savette!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savette scores with a nice right hand.
Man doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Savette counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Man avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Man shoots in looking for a takedown but Savette manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Man's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Savette thuds his right hand into Man's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Man tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Savette scores with a nice strike.
Man uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Savette.

Man with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Savette to score with a decent uppercut.

Man decides to stand back up.
Man shoots in for a double leg but Savette sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Man gets cracked there but stands up to it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Man shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Savette as he jumps to the side.
Savette has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Savette scores with a crisp jab that stopped Man in his tracks.
Savette pounces like a tiger and cracks Man with a vicious hook! Man is down but not out! Savette follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
