Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Destin Craven (ranked 2019 p4p, 1241 weight class) and Tico Tico (ranked 129 p4p, 93 weight class). Tico has chosen Paco De Lucia - Tico Tico as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 33 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Destin Craven!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tico Tico!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Craven on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Tico has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Tico will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Craven showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tico.
Craven looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tico looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Craven looks to land a combination but Tico avoids it well.
Tico walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Craven is looking to slow Tico down with leg kicks.
Craven misses with a hook
and Tico cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Tico works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Craven moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Tico lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Craven was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Oh Craven is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Craven misses with a low kick as Tico jumps back.
Craven chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tico can pounce on him.
Craven seems to have got his legs back now.
Craven jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tico misses with a series of wild punches.
Craven appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Craven clobbers Tico with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Craven throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Some bone on bone action there as Craven checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Tico Tico is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Craven lands with a kick to the temple. Tico shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Craven ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tico moves away.
Craven moves out of range as Tico strikes.
Craven walks into a jab.
Craven closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tico did well to prevent Craven getting side control.
Craven trying to control the action but Tico is working from the bottom.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Craven connects with a nice short shot to Tico's temple.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Craven is looking for a kimura here.
Craven wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tico keeps working.

Craven content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Craven with the ground and pound but Tico uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Craven lands a couple of digs.
Tico seems keen to control Craven's posture.
Craven stands up over Tico, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Tico has Craven pulled in close to control his posture.
Craven drops back, looking for a kneebar! Tico looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tico looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tico!

Craven tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Tico presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Craven can't escape the position.
Craven is working hard here to advance position.
Tico tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Craven wants to hold on but Tico pushes him away.
Craven keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tico Tico will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Craven throws a head kick that misses.
Craven keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nice uppercut lands for Tico. That snapped Craven's head back.
Craven takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Tico is looking to chop away at Craven's legs.
Tico Tico seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Craven cracks a nice hook into Tico's ribs.
Craven takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Tico looks to throw the jab but Craven is out of range.
Craven closes the distance and clinches up with Tico, looking for a takedown. Craven pushes Tico against the cage but Tico circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tico looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Tico takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Craven misses with the combination.
Tico swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Craven uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tico.
Tico throws a looping overhand right but Craven ducks down to avoid it.

Tico lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Tico with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Tico throws a looping overhand right but Craven ducks down to avoid it.
Craven shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tico napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Destin Craven overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Craven thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Craven is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Craven creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tico sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Craven is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tico has escaped the position, nice work there.

Tico managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Craven.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tico tries to hold on but Craven postures up.

Craven throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Craven is stalling here. Tico is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Craven seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Tico has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Craven tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tico wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Destin Craven will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Craven throws a head kick but Tico moves out of range.
Tico lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
A big left from Tico misses.
Craven tries to counter with a takedown but Tico is quick to defend against it.
Tico misses with a wild body shot.
Craven tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tico! But no joy.

Craven looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Craven slips under a jab.
Craven bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Craven throws a leg kick which misses Tico's front leg but catches the back leg as Tico tries to avoid it.

Craven scores with a head kick. Tico tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Craven throws a sloppy head kick and Tico moves out of range easily.

Craven misses with a few strikes there.
Tico avoids the head kick by Craven.
Tico ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Craven moves away.
Tico finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Craven pivots, looking for a leg kick but Tico is out of range and Craven settles back down.
Destin Craven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tico fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Craven manages to avoid it.
Tico lands a nice shot to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Craven, as that shot connected.

Craven uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tico.
Craven drives through with a takedown into guard.

Craven throws a strike but Tico rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Craven is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Tico is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Craven is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Craven is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tico defends it well.
Craven throwing shots but Tico is blocking nicely.
Craven wants to free his trapped foot but Tico is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Craven seems to be looking for submissions.
Tico is trying to maintain the position but Craven is very close to passing his half guard.
