Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Bruno Berinjela (ranked 23599 p4p, 2983 weight class) and Russell Northrop (ranked 521 p4p, 344 weight class). Berinjela comes into the arena with “Yoda” by Weird Al blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Northrop fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Berinjela has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Berinjela cracks Northrop with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Northrop is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Northrop is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Northrop could not beat the count!
