Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Davdio Branko (ranked 1140 p4p, 1275 weight class) and James King (ranked 105 p4p, 113 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 32 - 34 - 0, fighting out of London, Davdio Branko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 40 - 26 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, James King! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Branko decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Branko seems to be looking for submissions.
King is defending against the submission attempts here by Branko.

Branko wants to free his trapped foot but King is holding on for dear life with his legs. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Branko is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Davdio Branko dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. King's corner calls for a 1-2. King obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. King misses with a straight left. Branko takes a body punch but keeps moving. Branko manages to get an easy takedown there - catching King on his heels. He'll look to pass King's guard now, I'm sure. The fighters are working up against the cage. King manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Branko pulls guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. King wants to control from the top but Branko keeps moving. King tries to free his leg and advance position but Branko is retaining full guard. Branko is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

King won't allow Branko to sweep him here. King really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Branko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

King doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. King manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. King is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Branko keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully. Branko working from the bottom, still in full guard.
