Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miet Cleever (ranked 66 p4p, 110 weight class) and Quentain Martell (ranked 8 p4p, 19 weight class). Martell is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I Pledge Allegiance (Nate Dogg ft. Pharoahe Monch). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Miet Cleever!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Quentain Martell!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martell lands a slapping body shot.
Martell jabs Cleever right on the nose. Cleever blinks but takes it well.
It looks like Miet Cleever has been cut.
Martell scores with a nice strike.
Martell throws a lazy uppercut
and Cleever counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Cleever avoids a punch combination nicely.
Martell on the wrong end of a nice hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cleever takes a swing at Martell's ribcage but misses.
A head kick lands from Martell that sends Cleever to the canvas. Cleever tries to scramble back to his feet but Martell brings him back down into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Martell with the ground and pound but Cleever regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Cleever keeping control of the position.
Cleever has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Martell is working away from the top position though.
Martell takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cleever wants to improve his position but Martell is controlling well.
Martell scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Miet Cleever's cut is getting worse.
Martell prevents Cleever from improving his position.
Cleever makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cleever.

Martell throws a big elbow that misses.
Martell throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Cleever is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cleever wants to stand up but Martell is controlling him.
Martell working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cleever's head.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Cleever holds on and takes a little breather.
Martell works over Cleever with some ground and pound from guard.
Cleever pulls Martell in close to his closed guard and prevents Martell from doing any damage or advancing position.
Martell lands a couple of elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Martell with a nice head shot there.
Jeez, Miet Cleever's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Miet Cleever's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
