Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Nero Vogels (ranked 23645 p4p, 23615 weight class) and Bruno Berinjela (ranked 533 p4p, 550 weight class). Berinjela has chosen “Yoda” by Weird Al as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Nero Vogels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Bruno Berinjela!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berinjela throws a right hand that misses
and Vogels counters with a low kick, right behind Berinjela 's knee.
Vogels lands a front kick to the face, that drops Berinjela to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!
It looks like Bruno Berinjela has been cut.
Berinjela throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Vogels looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Vogels backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Berinjela's temple! It sends Berinjela violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Vogels celebrates and the doctors try to help Berinjela!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Nero Vogels!
Our winner, Nero Vogels, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
