Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Malcolm King (ranked 2668 p4p, 3009 weight class) and Dzhabrail Aslakhanov (ranked 312 p4p, 350 weight class). King comes into the arena with YoungBoy Never Broke Again – White Teeth blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 26 - 1, fighting out of New York, Malcolm King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dzhabrail Aslakhanov!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aslakhanov loads up on a big right hand but King slips the punch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Aslakhanov. King does a little dance to reset his feet.
King tries a head kick but it misses.
King misses with a body shot.
Malcolm King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aslakhanov cracks King with a right hand to the side of the head.
Aslakhanov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by King.
Good leg kick by King.
Aslakhanov takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
King feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Aslakhanovs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Aslakhanov knocks King to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

King is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
King is trying to escape the position but Aslakhanov is controlling the position.
Oh King is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Aslakhanov lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear King down.
Aslakhanov taking a breather here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
King seems to have got his legs back now.
King wants to get back to his feet but Aslakhanov drags him back down.
King wants to get back to his feet but Aslakhanov is dominant here and he's now got King's back!

Aslakhanov is looking for the choke from the back position but King is controlling his hands well.
King trying to get back to his feet but Aslakhanov is in full control for now.
Aslakhanov is riding his opponent, not letting King buck him off.

Let's hope that Aslakhanov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

King is trying to stand back up.
Aslakhanov controlling from the back.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Dzhabrail Aslakhanov dominated that round.
That's time! King's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

King throws a head kick but Aslakhanov moves out of range.
King keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Aslakhanov avoids a punch combination nicely.
King misses with a head kick.
A little jabbing left from Aslakhanov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
King looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Aslakhanov has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Dzhabrail Aslakhanov has been cut.
King tries to land a front kick but Aslakhanov steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Aslakhanov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but King circles away quickly and effectively.
Aslakhanov moves away from the strike by King.
Aslakhanov showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from King.
King throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Aslakhanov's head.
Aslakhanov looks to throw the jab but King is out of range.
Dzhabrail Aslakhanov seems to be getting the better of the standup.
A slow jab from Aslakhanov misses its intended target.
Aslakhanov has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
King swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Aslakhanov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
King waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Aslakhanov.

King falls off balance throwing a combination

and Aslakhanov counters with a big uppercut that knocks King off his feet! Aslakhanov dives into side control looking to finish!
King tries to escape but Aslakhanov is in control.
Aslakhanov content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
King is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Aslakhanov just content to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Aslakhanov's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aslakhanov prevents King from escaping the position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
King wants to get back to his feet but Aslakhanov is dominant here and he's now got King's back!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Aslakhanov is working for a rear naked choke. King is not defending it well and Aslakhanov has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! King refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of King's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Dzhabrail Aslakhanov!
