Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johan Joestar (ranked 1097 p4p, 1495 weight class) and Panagiotis Nikolau (ranked 141 p4p, 185 weight class). Joestar comes to the cage accompanied by Coda - Bloody Stream. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 30 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Johan Joestar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Panagiotis Nikolau! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nikolau throws an overhand right that lands on Joestar's shoulder, as Joestar tries to avoid the shot. Nikolau moves out of range of the strikes. Joestar throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Joestar lands with a kick to the temple. Nikolau shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" A shot to the body from Nikolau misses and Joestar counters with a three punch combo that has Nikolau backing up. Nikolau nods at Joestar to acknowledge the strikes. Joestar lands with a shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joestar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nikolau moves away. Joestar gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. I was talking to Joestar's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nikolau blocks an uppercut.
Nikolau misses with a short punch on the inside. Joestar manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed right hand from Nikolau misses the target. Joestar avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Joestar misses with a series of wild punches.
Nikolau works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
It looks like Johan Joestar has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Joestar tries a head kick but it misses.
A countering left hand to the body from Nikolau misses. Joestar keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Nikolau fakes the leg kick and cracks Joestar in the body. A shot to the body from Nikolau misses and Joestar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Nikolau thumps Joestar with a low kick. A telegraphed right hand from Joestar misses the target. Nikolau throws out a counter right but Joestar avoids it with no problem. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Joestar lands a head kick!
Joestar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nikolau lands a left and a right that send Joestar crashing to the mat, dazed. Nikolau thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Joestar throws a leg kick and Nikolau counters with a huge right that knocks Joestar out cold! Nikolau is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
