The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mesquita fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dux on the side of the head.
Mesquita lands with an uppercut that bounces Dux off the cage and back into range.
Mesquita connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Mesquita drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mesquita has his takedown stuffed
and Dux counters with a right hand to the body.
Dux pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Mesquita showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dux.
Nice shot lands for Mesquita.
Mesquita punishes Dux's body with a nice straight punch.
Mesquita throws a good cross that connects.

and Dux counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Dux takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

and Dux counters with a nice uppercut.
Dux misses with a hook. Mesquita ducked under it nicely.
Mesquita misses with a lunging right hand
and Dux counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mesquita is rocked!
Dux closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Mesquita out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
