The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz shoots and misses

Taylor takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

A quick step to the side and Taylor tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cruz throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Taylor is looking to counter the offense by Cruz and move into the clinch.

Cruz cracks Taylor with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Ricardo Cruz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Taylor was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Taylor lands a big right hand that drops Cruz! The killer instinct kicks in and Taylor finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Taylor!
