Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Smash Adams (ranked 3471 p4p, 3738 weight class) and Francisco Duarte (ranked 361 p4p, 393 weight class). Adams comes to the cage accompanied by Smash Adams' Theme. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Smash Adams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Francisco Duarte!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams slips a jab and a cross from Duarte.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Adams ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Adams scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Duarte wants to clinch up but Adams keeps it at a distance.
Duarte just misses with a punch to the body.
Adams swats away the attempt to clinch by Duarte.
Adams feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Duartes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Duarte tries to clinch there but Adams circles away.
Adams lands with a cross.
Adams works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Adams plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Adams lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Duarte backs up against the cage.
Duarte is rocked!
It looks like Francisco Duarte has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Duarte tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Adams circles away from the clinch attempt.
Adams keeps the fight on the outside.
Duarte takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Duarte is still on wobbly legs! Can Adams finish him?
The fighters circle, before Adams throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Duarte's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Adams lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Smash Adams!
After the fight, Smash Adams was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
