Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harry Alonzo Longabaugh (ranked 511 p4p, 581 weight class) and Caio Carvalho (ranked 70 p4p, 79 weight class). Carvalho comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pentagono - É o Moio kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harry Alonzo Longabaugh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Caio Carvalho!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Longabaugh is trying to defend but Carvalho finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Longabaugh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carvalho on the ground.

Carvalho has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Longabaugh tries to bum rush Carvalho with a series of wild strikes but Carvalho uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Carvalho connects with a body shot that sends Longabaugh's belly button to the back.
Longabaugh takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Longabaugh looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Carvalho has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Longabaugh throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Carvalho on the side of the head.
Longabaugh moves out of range of the strikes.
Longabaugh scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Carvalho goes for a double leg but Longabaugh avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Longabaugh continues to drive forward.

Carvalho feints and then cracks Longabaugh's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Longabaugh down.
Nice defenses there by Longabaugh.
Longabaugh throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
No joy there for Carvalho, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Longabaugh takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Carvalho moves away from the strike by Longabaugh.
And Carvalho tries to counter it with a takedown but Longabaugh pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Harry Alonzo Longabaugh is winning the standup battle so far.
Longabaugh cracks Carvalho with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Longabaugh has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Carvalho to stand back up!
Carvalho is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Longabaugh counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Carvalho is still on wobbly legs! Can Longabaugh finish him?
Carvalho is breathing heavily.
Carvalho takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Carvalho takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Longabaugh punishes Carvalho's body with a nice straight punch.
Carvalho is holding his hands too far apart here. Longabaugh throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Carvalho is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

A relieved looking Harry Alonzo Longabaugh thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
