Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Klaus Manfred (ranked 823 p4p, 1073 weight class) and Lion Tiger (ranked 103 p4p, 140 weight class). Tiger is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Alok - Hear Me Tonight. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lion Tiger!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiger steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Manfred.
Manfred fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tiger manages to avoid it.
Manfred takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Manfred shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tiger as he avoids it easily.
As Manfred backs off Tiger throws a huge counter combo but Manfred manages to avoid it all.
Tiger throws a jab but it's blocked by Manfred.

and Tiger counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Klaus Manfred has been cut.
Tiger moves out of range as Manfred strikes.
Manfred throws a hook but Tiger blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oh Manfred is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Manfred is nestled in close to Tiger, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
