Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jun Jun Li (ranked 2584 p4p, 3281 weight class) and Tsuna Resler (ranked 288 p4p, 358 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jun Jun Li! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tsuna Resler! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Li scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Resler is looking for a sweep. Li scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Resler to see if he's OK. Li is looking to take a break and control but Resler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Li is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Resler's shoulder. That is not cool. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You can see the frustration on Resler's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Resler is trying to get back to half guard. Li is looking to take a break and control but Resler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Li working the ground and pound but Resler is defending the strikes. Li slows the pace down. Li landing strikes. Li postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Li trying to control the position but Resler is working away. Li in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Li staying calm. Resler avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Li.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Resler is not content to let Li control the position. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Resler dodges the ground and pound from Li. Li in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Li creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Resler sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. The ground and pound from Li seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Li lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Resler down.
Resler stops Li from passing to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Li landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Li trying to control the position but Resler is working away. Li throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Li trying to control the action but Resler is working from the bottom. Resler is working to avoid the ground and pound but Li connects with a decent elbow. Resler is trying to control Li's posture but Li avoids it. Li in side control, just content to control the action for now. An elbow from Li crashes against the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Resler can't do much from the bottom here. Resler is not content to let Li control the position. Li lands some shots froms side control. Li lands a few punches from side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Li looks up at the clock and then as Resler takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Li smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Li misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Li slows the pace down. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jun Jun Li dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Resler misses with an uppercut. Resler gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Li to score an easy takedown into full guard. Li has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Li sitting in guard, not really doing much. Li postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Li is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Li scoring with some ground and pound. Li controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Li seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Resler for as long as he can get away with. Li scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Li slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Li working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Resler's head. Li lands a couple of elbows. Li postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Resler keeping moving, preventing Li from controlling successfully. Li postures up and lands a big shot to Resler's brow.
Resler is rocked! Li stays in close to Resler's body and controls the position. Li trying to control but Resler is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Li is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Resler is still in real trouble! Can Li finish him? Li is in close to Resler's body, working some short punches and elbows. Li loads up on a big left hand. Resler felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Li looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Resler can't hide his disappointment, as Li celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jun Jun Li! A relieved looking Jun Jun Li thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. Tsuna Resler spoke after the fight, saying 'I guess... I’m still better at avoiding fish than fists. Maybe I should’ve stuck to tuna wrestling!'.
