Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Salvatore Coppola (ranked 2085 p4p, 3152 weight class) and Elijah Anderson (ranked 258 p4p, 361 weight class). Coppola comes into the arena with Duality blaring out of the sound system. Salvatore Coppola could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Elijah Anderson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 37 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Salvatore Coppola! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Elijah Anderson! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coppola tries to clinch but Anderson moves out of range. Anderson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Coppola napping and manages to drive through into side control! Coppola is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Coppola can't do much from the bottom here. Coppola is looking for a sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anderson controls the position from side control.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Anderson looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Coppola will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Coppola working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anderson content just to control the position here. Anderson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Anderson.
