The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yalixqua blocks a jab.
Yalixqua looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Chai takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Chai ducks under a wild hook from Yalixqua.
Chai swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Yalixqua throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Yalixqua pushes Chai away with a front kick.

and Chai counters with a straight right hand.

Chai looks for the body kick but Yalixqua saw that one coming.
Yalixqua ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Chai swings widly with a right hand
and Yalixqua counters with an inside leg kick.
Yalixqua slips a straight right by Chai.
Iaspero Yalixqua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yalixqua keeps Chai at a distance using the push kick.

and Yalixqua takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Chai counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Yalixqua tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Chai is able to avoid easily.
Yalixqua lands a leg kick that knocks Chai off balance momentarily.

Chai looks to throw the jab but Yalixqua is out of range.
Chai might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Yalixqua tries to land a body kick
and Chai connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Yalixqua lands a nice leg kick that just misses Chai's sensitive parts.
Yalixqua goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Yalixqua throws a jab but it's blocked by Chai.
Chai unleashes a big counter combination but Yalixqua bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Yalixqua on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Yalixqua is rocked!
Yalixqua misses with a hook
and Chai counters with a big right hook, that lands right on the temple! Yalixqua goes down! Chai rushes to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. This one's going to be close! 3,4,5,6,7... Yalixqua is up to one knee.... 8,9....10! He didn't make it! This fight is over!
