Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Kramer (ranked 615 p4p, 785 weight class) and Danny Chase (ranked 86 p4p, 111 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Kramer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Danny Chase! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chase throws a hook but Kramer avoids it easily. Danny Chase seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice uppercut there from Chase. Chase misses with a right hand and Kramer counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Chase! Kramer goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Chase rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Kramer's guard! Nice work there by Chase! Kramer keeping moving, preventing Chase from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chase is in close to Kramer's body, working some short punches and elbows. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Chase working some strikes from top position. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Chase is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Kramer wants to improve his position but Chase is controlling well.
Chase lands with a punch from half guard. Chase lands a big elbow - Kramer is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Chase!
