Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kacie Jr scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hobbs manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kacie Jr's best efforts.
Hobbs is looking for a sweep. Kacie Jr is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hobbs's coaches at Grapple have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Kacie Jr throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hobbs works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
