Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shara Magomedov (ranked 2221 p4p, 1276 weight class) and Hrvoje Vinkovic (ranked 203 p4p, 123 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hrvoje Vinkovic!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vinkovic misses with a takedown attempt - Magomedov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Vinkovic has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Vinkovic has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Magomedov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Vinkovic has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Magomedov after a bit of a struggle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
