Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Kidd (ranked 1765 p4p, 841 weight class) and George Pogie (ranked 211 p4p, 107 weight class). Pogie has chosen Nobody’s Angel as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jesse Kidd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Pogie! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pogie drives through with a takedown into Kidd's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Kidd working for a triangle but Pogie defends it easily.
Pogie trying to control but Kidd is working from the bottom. Kidd throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Pogie escapes and throws Kidd's legs to the side, diving into side control! Pogie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Pogie jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kidd manages to avoid the submission attempt. Kidd is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Pogie is looking for a kimura but Kidd is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pogie to get the leverage. Kidd is not content to let Pogie control the position. Pogie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kidd is just riding it out for now. Pogie eventually gives up the hold. Kidd looking for a kimura from the bottom but Pogie passes into side control! Kidd prevents Pogie from moving into mount. Kidd is looking to reverse the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kidd is working hard here to advance position. Jesse Kidd has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! George Pogie is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. And that's the end of the fight! George Pogie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pogie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
