Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wally Kruschev (ranked 866 p4p, 1141 weight class) and Ispa Perkele (ranked 89 p4p, 116 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 34 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wally Kruschev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 38 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ispa Perkele! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurstr�m.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kruschev throws a low kick, looking for Perkele's leg but Perkele calmly moves out of range. Perkele lands a head shot. Kruschev uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Perkele. Perkele pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Perkele scores with a jab to the head.
Kruschev tries to work over Perkele's front leg with a kick but Perkele checks it. Nice uppercut there from Perkele. Kruschev dives in and grabs Perkele's left leg, looking for a takedown. Perkele pushes down on Kruschev's head and hops out. Kruschev stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Perkele cracks Kruschev with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Kruschev fails with a takedown attempt. Perkele swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Perkele takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Perkele fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kruschev looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Perkele paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Perkele catches Kruschev with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Perkele lands a slapping body shot.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kruschev walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Perkele waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kruschev. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kruschev. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wally Kruschev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Perkele scores with a sloppy right hand. Kruschev should have avoided that one. Kruschev fails with the takedown enabling Perkele to counter with a crisp jab. Perkele connects with a solid leg kick. Perkele dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Kruschev stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Perkele. Kruschev gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Perkele counters with a lovely shot to the body. Perkele lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kruschev's sensitive parts. A nice inside leg kick there by Perkele. That's going to slow Kruschev down. Kruschev shoots in for a takedown but Perkele shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Perkele looks like he wants to counter punch here.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Perkele fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. Kruschev closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Perkele did well to prevent Kruschev getting side control. Perkele holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Perkele tries to get to full guard but Kruschev has control of the leg. Kruschev wants to take a breather but Perkele is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Perkele wants to control but Kruschev is keeping busy and won't allow it.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Perkele throws a hook but Kruschev avoids it easily. Perkele misses with a hook. Kruschev ducked under it nicely. Kruschev misses with a takedown attempt - Perkele sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Perkele fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Kruschev takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Perkele is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Kruschev had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. Perkele throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kruschev on the side of the head. The fight stays on the outside here - Kruschev looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Perkele has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Kruschev misses with a head kick.
Kruschev fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kruschev shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Perkele as he jumps to the side. A little jabbing left from Perkele on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Kruschev lands with a kick to the temple. Perkele shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Kruschev shoots in and drives through. Perkele sprawls well. Perkele scores with a sloppy right hand. Kruschev should have avoided that one. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kruschev misses the shot to the body. Perkele looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Perkele connects with the punch. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ispa Perkele dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kruschev takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Perkele comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Kruschev looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kruschev on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Perkele lets loose with a powerful body kick. Kruschev will feel that in the morning. Kruschev is trying hard to land a takedown here. Perkele sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Perkele looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Perkele lands a jab. Perkele misses the shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A good leg kick by Perkele. Perkele with a nice cross. Perkele dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kruschev. That did some damage! Perkele connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kruschev. Kruschev circles away out of range and recomposes himself. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Perkele slips under a jab from Kruschev.

Perkele flicks out a counter leg kick but Kruschev steps away. Perkele works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Perkele keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Perkele lands with a thumping leg kick.

Ispa Perkele seems to be getting the better of the standup. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kruschev. Perkele swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Jab, jab by Perkele - just one landing. Kruschev shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Perkele scores with a decent looking hook. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kruschev closes the distance and clinches up with Perkele, looking for a takedown. Kruschev pushes Perkele against the cage but Perkele circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kruschev takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Wally Kruschev is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Perkele thuds a left hand into Kruschev's body. Perkele throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Decent striking displayed by Perkele there. Kruschev shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Perkele defends it nicely. A nice leg kick lands there from Perkele. Perkele dips to his left and cracks Kruschev with an uppercut! Kruschev shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Perkele but Perkele pushes him off and we're back to square one. Perkele scores with a jab to the jaw.

Perkele fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kruschev has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. This has been an exciting period of action! Perkele scores with a jab to the body. Nice body punch from Perkele. Kruschev shoots in looking for a takedown but Perkele manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kruschev's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Perkele bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kruschev's head backwards. Kruschev has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kruschev there as he acknowledges the shot. Ispa Perkele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Perkele cracks Kruschev with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The crowd cheers as Perkele lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kruschev doesn't seem phased though. Kruschev wants to clinch up but Perkele keeps it at a distance. Kruschev is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Perkele looks to throw the jab but Kruschev is out of range. Perkele scores with the left hand. Kruschev knows he should have avoided that one. Perkele cracks Kruschev with a good jab. Kruschev throws a sloppy head kick and Perkele moves out of range easily. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kruschev shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Perkele as he avoids it easily. Perkele throws out a counter right but Kruschev avoids it with no problem. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ispa Perkele showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Kruschev tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Perkele defends well and Kruschev ends up having to push Perkele into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Kruschev shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Kruschev shoots in but Perkele avoids the takedown attempt easily. A wild punch that just about connected.

Kruschev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Perkele tries to avoid it but Kruschev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Perkele to the ground. Perkele escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Perkele throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kruschev feinted there with a counter leg kick. Kruschev moves away from the strike by Perkele. Kruschev shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kruschev has his takedown stuffed and Perkele counters with a good low kick that Kruschev was not able to check. Kruschev looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Perkele throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Kruschev takes a shot right to the bread basket. Perkele connects with a nice looking jab.

Perkele tries to avoid it but Kruschev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Perkele to the ground. Perkele escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Wally Kruschev has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kruschev has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Perkele.
And that's the end of the fight! Ispa Perkele comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Perkele winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
