Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Artemis Rhodes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Luka Son!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Son tries to score with a low kick but Rhodes moves his leg out of the way.
Son fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rhodes.
Rhodes throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Son! But no joy.
Rhodes lands with a hook. Son tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Luka Son has been cut.
Rhodes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Son.
Rhodes loads up on a big right hand but Son slips the punch.
Rhodes lands a body shot.
Son throws a right hand that misses
and Rhodes counters with a crisp right hand that drops Son! Rhodes lets Son back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Son is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rhodes connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Son covering up! Rhodes comes in with a big uppercut and Son goes doooown! He's slumped up against the ropes, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Artemis Rhodes!
