Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rimtas Kentas (ranked 564 p4p, 207 weight class) and Kuromiya Hiro (ranked 53 p4p, 24 weight class). Kuromiya Hiro told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rimtas Kentas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Kuromiya Hiro!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kentas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hiro manages to avoid it.
Hiro swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kentas lands a lovely overhand right.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hiro. Kentas does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kentas throwing a counter right hand but Hiro manages to avoid it.
Kentas misses the shot to the body.
Hiro swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Kentas thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kentas fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kentas misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hiro.
Rimtas Kentas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kentas misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hiro throws an overhand right that lands on Kentas's shoulder, as Kentas tries to avoid the shot.

enabling Hiro to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Rimtas Kentas has been cut.
Kentas has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kentas looks to land a left hand but Hiro moved out of range nicely.
Hiro bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kentas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hiro.

Kentas misses with a jab to the body
and Hiro counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Kentas out cold! What a finish! Hiro is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kuromiya Hiro!
After winning the bout, Kuromiya Hiro thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
