Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank Rizzo (ranked 714 p4p, 1026 weight class) and Parmesan Cheese (ranked 61 p4p, 79 weight class). Parmesan Cheese will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 13 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Frank Rizzo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Parmesan Cheese! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cheese throws a body kick that misses and Rizzo counters with a nice body shot. Cheese throws a leg kick but Rizzo checks it. Rizzo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cheese. Rizzo looks to score with a jab to the body but Cheese is just out of range. A jab from Cheese finds it's way through Rizzo's defenses. Good exchange - Cheese coming out on top. Rizzo looks to land a combination but Cheese avoids it well. Rizzo ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Rizzo throws out a loose jab but Cheese uses good head movement to avoid it. Cheese is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A swing and a miss from Cheese. Cheese throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rizzo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Rizzo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Cheese lands with an uppercut that bounces Rizzo off the cage and back into range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rizzo cracks Cheese with a right hand to the side of the head. Cheese thows a leg kick but Rizzo checks it and Rizzo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Cheese wants to sweep here but Rizzo controlling him for the moment. Rizzo lands a couple of digs. Rizzo postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Rizzo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Rizzo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cheese is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rizzo, into his guard. Rizzo controls Cheese momentarily but Cheese frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rizzo wants to hit a sweep here but Cheese passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Rizzo there! Rizzo tries to lock up and control but Cheese gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Rizzo really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rizzo bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Cheese utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cheese wants to sweep but no luck. Rizzo trying to control but Cheese is working from the bottom. Cheese wants to sweep but no luck. Rizzo tries to free his leg and advance position but Cheese is retaining full guard. Rizzo is working hard here to advance position. Rizzo looking to sit in guard and control but Cheese gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cheese engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Rizzo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cheese's guard. Rizzo trying to control but Cheese is working from the bottom. Rizzo is looking to work some ground and pound but Cheese has wrist control. Rizzo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cheese swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Frank Rizzo will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Rizzo misses with a leg kick and Cheese counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Cheese misses with a hook. Rizzo sizes up Cheese with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rizzo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Cheese pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Rizzo lands a body shot.
Rizzo throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Cheese tries to work over Rizzo's front leg with a kick but Rizzo checks it. Cheese misses with a straight left. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rizzo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cheese's half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rizzo wants to pass the guard but Cheese is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rizzo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Rizzo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Rizzo stalling away here and it's allowed Cheese to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Cheese looking for a sweep. Not yet Cheese, not yet. Rizzo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rizzo postures up and lands a big shot to Cheese's brow. Rizzo trying to control but Cheese is working from the bottom. Cheese trying to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rizzo throws an elbow that misses. Cheese uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rizzo's guard. Nice move by Cheese! Cheese stays in close to Rizzo's body and controls the position. Rizzo wants to control but Cheese passes easily into half guard.
Rizzo keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cheese looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Cheese seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rizzo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Rizzo tries to roll over but Cheese keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rizzo is trying to control but Cheese passes into side control!
You can see the frustration on Rizzo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Cheese is looking to take a break and control but Rizzo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rizzo can't do much from the bottom here.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rizzo tried to score with a low kick but Cheese checks it. Cheese looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Parmesan Cheese will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Nice uppercut there from Cheese. Cheese throws a big shot that misses. Rizzo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Cheese checks a low kick from Rizzo. Cheese unleashes a big counter combination but Rizzo bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Rizzo misses with a lunging right hand
and Cheese counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Cheese throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rizzo sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rizzo was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Cheese misses with a body punch
and Rizzo counters with a nice uppercut. Rizzo misses with a looping right. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rizzo thuds a left hand into Cheese's body. Rizzo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cheese throws a jab when Rizzo was well out of range. Cheese misses with a hook. Rizzo ducked under it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cheese misses with a shot to the body letting Rizzo counter with a right hand. Cheese looks to throw the jab but Rizzo is out of range. Rizzo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cheese sprawls well initially but Rizzo persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Cheese trying to hold on to Rizzo's head to control him but Rizzo postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Rizzo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Rizzo is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Cheese to slip a leg under and get back to full guard. Rizzo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Rizzo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Rizzo landing some decent shots from guard. Rizzo trying to control the position from guard on top but Cheese is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rizzo is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Cheese looking for a sweep. Not yet Cheese, not yet. Cheese utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Cheese avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Rizzo throws a big elbow that misses.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Rizzo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Cheese lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Rizzo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cheese makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cheese. Rizzo content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Rizzo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cheese swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cheese controlling Rizzo's posture. Rizzo loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
And that's the end of the fight! Frank Rizzo showed his dominance in that final round. I think Rizzo has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
