Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Haggar (ranked 735 p4p, 333 weight class) and Billy Blank (ranked 98 p4p, 43 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blank looks to land a left hand but Haggar moved out of range nicely.
A telegraphed right hand from Blank misses the target.
Haggar waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Blank.
Blank throws out a counter right but Haggar avoids it with no problem.
A looping hook to the body misses from Haggar. Blank does a little dance to reset his feet.
Haggar with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Blank to score with a decent uppercut.
Haggar missing with a left hand there. Blank was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Blank throws out a counter right but Haggar avoids it with no problem.
Haggar manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Blank on his heels. He'll look to pass Blank's guard now, I'm sure.

Blank is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Haggar cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Haggar is landing with some decent strikes but Blank is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
