Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elrey Dorado (ranked 10 p4p, 72 weight class) and Mason Jones (ranked 1 p4p, 10 weight class). Dorado comes to the cage accompanied by MY STORY. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elrey Dorado!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mason Jones!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Lou da Vinci and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dorado swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jones lands with a cross.
We've been hearing reports that Dorado has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Jones throws a body punch but Dorado moves out of range.
Dorado changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
