Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miles O Brien (ranked 555 p4p, 768 weight class) and Panfilo Acerbi (ranked 66 p4p, 82 weight class). O Brien comes to the cage accompanied by Sweet Leaf. Acerbi has chosen Boom Boom Boom Boom - Venga Boys as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Miles O Brien has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Miles O Brien seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Panfilo Acerbi!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acerbi thuds a left hand into O Brien's body.
O Brien throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
O Brien uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Acerbi.
Acerbi connects with a high kick.
Acerbi chopping away at his opponent's legs.
O Brien checks a leg kick.
It looked like O Brien wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
O Brien throws the left hand but Acerbi avoids the punch easily.
O Brien misses with a lunging right hand
and Acerbi counters with a one-two to the body.
O Brien looks to land a body kick but Acerbi moved away.
Acerbi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from O Brien.
O Brien chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Acerbi can pounce on him.
Acerbi connects with a good right hand that stumbles O Brien. O Brien circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Acerbi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
O Brien scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Panfilo Acerbi has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
O Brien chopping away at his opponent's legs.
O Brien lands a slapping body shot.
O Brien misses with a looping left.
We've been told by O Brien's head coaches at The House Of Pain that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Acerbi misses with a hook to the body
and O Brien makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
O Brien takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Acerbi fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches O Brien on the side of the head.
O Brien with a jab.
Acerbi lands with a good body shot.
Acerbi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but O Brien was well out of range. Poor timing from Acerbi.
Acerbi feints and then cracks O Brien's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow O Brien down.
O Brien avoids the head kick by Acerbi.

Acerbi pushes O Brien away with a front kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Acerbi listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
O Brien lands a big head kick that sends Acerbi tumbling to the mat! O Brien takes a step backwards and waves Acerbi back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Acerbi is rocked!
Acerbi throws an ugly left hook that misses
and O Brien makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Acerbi is still on wobbly legs! Can O Brien finish him?
Acerbi looks to throw the jab but O Brien is out of range.
O Brien thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Acerbi if he has to take too many more of those.
Acerbi looks winded!
A low kick from Acerbi misses
and O Brien counters with an inside leg kick.
O Brien throws a quick head kick that knocks Acerbi silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! O Brien is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Miles O Brien!
An out of breath Miles O Brien thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
