Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Small Richard (ranked 511 p4p, 470 weight class) and Yaroslav Rurik (ranked 45 p4p, 38 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Small Richard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yaroslav Rurik!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Rurik moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Rurik swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Richard looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

As Rurik tries to get set, Richard tries to push him back and clinch up but Rurik manages to avoid the attempt.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Yaroslav Rurik will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Rurik lands a big head kick that sends Richard tumbling to the mat! Rurik takes a step backwards and waves Richard back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Small Richard has been cut.

Rurik loads up on a big right hand but Richard slips the punch.

Richard tries to counter with a takedown but Rurik is quick to defend against it.
Rurik throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Richard sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Richard swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Rurik ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Richard moves away.

Rurik lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Richard working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Rurik sneaks back into half guard.
Richard working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Small Richard overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Richard lands a nice short elbow.

Yaroslav Rurik comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Rurik winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
