Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Iago Farfan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Desidido Mohabal!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farfan swings and misses with a shot to the body
enabling Mohabal to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Iago Farfan has been cut.
Farfan throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Farfan throws a sloppy head kick and Mohabal moves out of range easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mohabal! But no joy.
Mohabal uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Farfan.
Mohabal is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Farfan with a body shot.
Farfan lands a big head kick that sends Mohabal tumbling to the mat! Farfan takes a step backwards and waves Mohabal back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Mohabal is rocked!
It looks like Desidido Mohabal has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Farfan throws a powerful right kick. Mohabal tried to block low but the kick was high! Mohabal was taken right off of his feet! Farfan jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Iago Farfan!
A relieved looking Iago Farfan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
