Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mehdi Kanaani (ranked 2563 p4p, 2388 weight class) and Sebastion Lynar (ranked 236 p4p, 220 weight class). Kanaani's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dr. Dre ft. Snoop Dogg - Nuthin' But A G Thang. Kanaani has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Mehdi Kanaani had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanaani misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lynar.
Lynar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kanaani throwing a counter right hand but Lynar manages to avoid it.
Lynar blocks a jab.
Kanaani throws a hook but Lynar avoids it easily.
Sebastion Lynar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kanaani throws a lazy right hand but Lynar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Lynar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kanaani doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Lynar is tightening it up a little... Kanaani has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kanaani reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kanaani taps out! Nice BJJ there by Lynar!

In his post fight interview, Sebastion Lynar started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
