Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Blonde Brunson (ranked 2471 p4p, 1194 weight class) and Romulo Ferreira (ranked 163 p4p, 97 weight class). Blonde Brunson had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Romulo Ferreira!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Brunson on the side of the head.
Brunson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Brunson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Brunson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ferreira throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Ferreira looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Ferreira is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Brunson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Ferreira is stalking Brunson. Brunson circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Ferreira, and it's lights out! Brunson really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
