Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arax Lightspeed (ranked 927 p4p, 1173 weight class) and Mate Orsic (ranked 91 p4p, 118 weight class). Lightspeed comes to the cage accompanied by Silver Scrapes - Danny McCarthy. Orsic has chosen KRS One - Rappaz R. N. Dainja as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arax Lightspeed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 20 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mate Orsic!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orsic looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
It appears Lightspeed was looking to counter with a kick there.
A right-left combo lands from Orsic.
Orsic works over Lightspeed's head and body with a nice combination.
Sloppy strikes from Orsic. Those never looked like landing.
A quick step to the side and Lightspeed tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lightspeed takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Orsic fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lightspeed manages to avoid it.

and Lightspeed connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Orsic scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Orsic drops back looking for a leg! Lightspeed is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lightspeed manages to kick Orsic off! Orsic jumps back into Lightspeed's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Orsic wants to pass the guard but Lightspeed is keeping the position.

Orsic looking to isolate an arm here. Lightspeed doesn't see it coming and as Orsic extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Orsic!

After winning the bout, Mate Orsic thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
