Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luka Son (ranked 1671 p4p, 1372 weight class) and Bobby Mercer (ranked 55 p4p, 45 weight class). Mercer comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Why Can't We Be Friends by WAR kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Bobby Mercer is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Bobby Mercer has been cut.
Mercer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Son moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Luka Son seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Son throws a chopping leg kick but Mercer manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Son lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mercer has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mercer and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

In his post fight interview, Luka Son started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
In defeat, Bobby Mercer stepped up to the mic, saying 'I was kind of looking forward to a rubber match Diogo, but I'll take it as a sign. I am officially retiring from fighting. What a ride it's been Dynasty! The best org out there! They're at the tippy top, but really they're only half way up! Thank you for the opportunities & thank you to the fans'.
