Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Peter Geerdes (ranked 5114 p4p, 5289 weight class) and Buntaro Funaki (ranked 502 p4p, 514 weight class). Geerdes comes into the arena with Scooter vs Dick Rules - Maria blaring out of the sound system. Buntaro Funaki is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buntaro Funaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Geerdes sends Funaki crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Geerdes is motioning to the referee to let Funaki up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Hans Peter Geerdes will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Geerdes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Geerdes drops Funaki with a huge uppercut! Funaki drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Geerdes is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
