Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mo Ali (ranked 3008 p4p, 2844 weight class) and Fahaka Puffer (ranked 361 p4p, 333 weight class). Puffer has chosen Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mo Ali!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Fahaka Puffer!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puffer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ali.
Ali misses with a lunging right hand
and Puffer counters with a leg kick.
Puffer moves out of range as Ali strikes.
Ali misses with a left hand
and Puffer counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ali thinking.
Ali throws a leg kick
and Puffer counters with a leg kick.
Puffer throws the kick towards the body but Ali avoids it.
Ali throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ali misses with a shot to the body
and Puffer counters with a nice body kick.
Ali is breathing heavily.
Puffer tries to land a front kick but Ali steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ali throws a jab when Puffer was well out of range.
Puffer has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ali is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Ali misses with an uppercut.
Ali takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
It looks like Mo Ali has been cut.

Ali throws a shot from downtown. Puffer moves away and avoids it.
Puffer tries to land a leg kick but Ali saw it coming and moves away.
Ali tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ali throws a nice looking combination but Puffer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Good work by Puffer as he checks the leg kick.

and Puffer counters with an outside leg kick.
Puffer catches Ali with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Puffer walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Puffer avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Puffer chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Ali lunges at Puffer with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Puffer's hand.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ali, as that shot connected.
Puffer showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ali.
Puffer stuns Ali with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ali looks to throw the jab but Puffer is out of range.
Puffer misses with a low kick as Ali jumps back.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ali. Puffer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ali moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromPuffer.
Puffer scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Ali misses with a looping right.
A left lands for Puffer.
Mo Ali's cut is getting worse.
Puffer is looking to score with low kicks.

Ali swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Puffer looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Ali lands a nice looking body kick.
Ali has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Puffer.
Ali misses with a hook.
Ali swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ali throws a leg kick but Puffer checks it.

and Puffer makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Ali really felt that one!

Mo Ali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Puffer makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

letting Puffer counter with a right hand.
Mo Ali's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Ali throws a big shot that misses.
Puffer throws out a counter right but Ali avoids it with no problem.

Puffer lands a big uppercut and Ali crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ali looks OK. Puffer waves Ali back to his feet!
Ali is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ali scores with a sloppy right hand. Puffer should have avoided that one.
Oh Ali is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ali pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ali seems to have got his legs back now.
A nice combination there by Ali.
Puffer moves away from the strike by Ali.
Puffer moves out of range of the strikes.
Puffer misses with a body kick.
Ali defending well as Puffer loads up on a big left hand.
Ali scores with the left hand. Puffer knows he should have avoided that one.
We've been told by Ali's head coaches at Ironbound MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Puffer moves out of range of the strikes.
Puffer swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Ali wants to slow Puffer down by chopping away at his legs.

That's time! Ali's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Puffer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ali just misses with a punch to the body.
Fahaka Puffer seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Ali swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Puffer.
Ali rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Puffer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jeez, Mo Ali's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Ali misses with a hook. Puffer ducked under it nicely.

Ali has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Puffer finds it's way round the side to connect with Ali's head.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mo Ali's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
