Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Pitstain (ranked 24522 p4p, 24519 weight class) and Gaizka Elizondo (ranked 532 p4p, 491 weight class). Gaizka Elizondo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Rodney Pitstain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gaizka Elizondo!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitstain on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Pitstain looks to land a combination but Elizondo avoids it well.
A head kick by Pitstain misses
and Elizondo counters with a straight right hand.
Pitstain throws a leg kick
and Elizondo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Pitstain scores with a kick to the body.
Pitstain scores with a sloppy right hand. Elizondo should have avoided that one.
Pitstain waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Elizondo.
Pitstain misses with a low kick.
Danga de danga de dang - Pitstain scores with a four punch combination!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Elizondo - that will leave a mark!
Pitstain misses with a hook. Elizondo ducked under it nicely.
Rodney Pitstain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Elizondo punishes Pitstain's body with a nice straight punch.
Pitstain throws a right and a left that Elizondo avoids nicely.
Elizondo moves into the clinch.
Elizondo softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Elizondo lands a hook to the side of the head.
Pitstain is trying to push Elizondo away but Elizondo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Elizondo scores with a hook to the body.
Elizondo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pitstain throws a leg kick but Elizondo sees it coming and moves out of range.
Pitstain has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Pitstain there as he acknowledges the shot.
Pitstain is rocked!
A low kick from Pitstain misses
and Elizondo counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gaizka Elizondo!
Rodney Pitstain spoke after the fight, saying 'You can't hang and bang with everyone, but I did my best tonight. Screw the haters, I love you all, though.'.
