And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daichi Tanaka!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanaka closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fisher did well to prevent Tanaka getting side control.
Fisher really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Tanaka is trying to work for a kimura but Fisher is defending well.
Fisher on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fisher tries to get out of the position.
Tanaka seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Tanaka has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Fisher defend it? Tanaka steps over the head and cranks it - Fisher is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Tanaka!
