Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tim Bird (ranked 249 p4p, 1394 weight class) and Fredrik White (ranked 40 p4p, 173 weight class). Bird comes to the cage accompanied by Dragula - Rob Zombie. White is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fredrik White!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bird closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bird avoids the elbow strike from White, against the cage.
White lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Bird blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A head punch on the inside from White fails to land.
White connects with a knee to the head.
Bird is trying to work for a single leg takedown but White pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Bird has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

It looks like Tim Bird has been cut.
Bird changes levels and goes for a takedown here. White fights it off and pushes away nicely.
White thuds his right hand into Bird's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Bird is rocked!
Bird will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

White fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bird on the side of the head.

It looks like Fredrik White has been cut.
White is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bird.
Bird staying out of range there.
Fredrik White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White throws a body punch but Bird moves out of range.
Bird tries to clinch up.
White walks into a left hand.
White lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Bird falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

A relieved looking Fredrik White thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Tim Bird stepped up to the mic, saying 'Thankyou to my opponent for the scrap. Respect!'.
