Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kimmo Peramaki (ranked 356 p4p, 2453 weight class) and Sebastion Lynar (ranked 45 p4p, 240 weight class). Kimmo Peramaki has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 33 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kimmo Peramaki! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 29 - 24 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sebastion Lynar! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peramaki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Peramaki forces Lynar back against the cage and clinches. Peramaki gets control of Lynar's arms and successfully pulls guard. Peramaki will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Lynar looking to pass the guard. Lynar controls the pace of the fight for a moment. We've been hearing good reports from Peramaki's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Peramaki controls Lynar momentarily but Lynar frees himself. Lynar is looking to advance position but Peramaki has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Lynar sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Lynar tries to get to full guard but Peramaki has control of the leg. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peramaki moves nicely into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. You can see the frustration on Lynar's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Lynar tries to improve position but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lynar is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Peramaki off and has taken his back! Lynar is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Peramaki knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Peramaki for a finish. Lynar has the hooks in. Peramaki is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Lynar is not going to allow Peramaki to sit and survive in this position.

Peramaki sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lynar's guard. Lynar moves into full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Peramaki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control.
