Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rico Milka (ranked 1775 p4p, 1281 weight class) and Toshika Koga (ranked 156 p4p, 119 weight class). The key to victory for Rico Milka has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rico Milka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Toshika Koga! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Milka misses with a head kick.
Milka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Koga tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Milka manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Milka throws a lazy head kick and Koga counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Milka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Koga was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Koga has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Milka is landing a low percentage of strikes. Koga pivots, looking for a leg kick but Milka is out of range and Koga settles back down. Milka lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Koga circles away quickly and effectively. Milka misses with a double jab.
Koga misses with a straight left. A little feinted left hand from Milka on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Milka throws a sloppy head kick and Koga moves out of range easily. Koga has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Koga there as he acknowledges the shot. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Koga lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Milka has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Milka and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Milka looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A head kick by Milka misses and Koga counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Milka misses the jab. Koga rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Milka moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Koga avoids the head kick by Milka.
Koga is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Milka with a body shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Milka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Milka goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Milka throws a head kick but Koga moves out of range.
Koga bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Milka's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Milka on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Koga moves into range and connects with a jab. Milka tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Koga paws at him with a jab and circles away. Rico Milka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice sprawl there from Milka as Koga shoots in. Milka misses with a head kick.
Milka drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Milka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Koga manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Koga lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Koga scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Koga misses with an uppercut. Milka saw that one coming. Milka stalks Koga and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Koga's face. Koga staggers backwards, shaken. A good leg kick by Koga. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Koga has managed to clinch.

Koga loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Koga lands a couple of decent looking shots. Koga landing with the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Koga accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Koga's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Milka preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Koga cracks Milka with a solid left hand. Koga throws a big elbow that misses. Koga has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Koga landing with the ground and pound. Koga lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Toshika Koga dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Koga's corner calls for a 1-2. Koga obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Milka misses the shot to the body. Milka throws a head kick that misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Koga blocks a head kick by Milka.

Milka lands a jab to the nose. Rico Milka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Koga throws a hook to the side of Milka's head but Milka sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Koga throws a shot from downtown. Milka moves away and avoids it. Koga throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Koga paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Milka lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Milka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A little jabbing left from Koga on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Koga blocks a head kick by Milka.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A leg kick checked by Milka. Koga throws a wild body kick that Milka sees coming a mile off. Milka went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Koga lands a lovely overhand right. A jab from Koga does it's job there. That's three minutes gone in the round. A quick uppercut on the inside from Koga. A short uppercut from Milka. Milka lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Koga backwards. Koga has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Koga blocks a punch to the side of the head.

A close second round but Toshika Koga will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round! Koga avoids the head kick by Milka.
A head kick misses from Milka. Koga walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Milka checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Decent striking displayed by Koga there. Koga avoids the head kick by Milka.
Milka throws a head kick that misses. Koga cracks a nice hook into Milka's ribs. Nice straight punches there by Koga. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Koga. Koga lands with a hook. Milka tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Milka tries to clinch up. Koga moves into range and connects with a jab. Koga misses with a low kick. Koga lands with a thumping leg kick.
Koga wants to land a leg kick but Milka is out of range. Koga misses with a body kick. Koga throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Milka sees it coming and avoids it easily. Milka throws a head kick that misses and Koga counters with a lovely shot to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Koga cracks Milka with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Milka looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koga shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Milka napping and manages to drive through into side control! Koga fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Milka takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Koga working the ground and pound from side control. Milka knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Koga on the ground. Koga looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Milka is avoiding damage well.

Koga grinds an elbow into Milka's temple. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Milka is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Koga is controlling him well. Koga tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Koga lands a few punches from side control. Rico Milka has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koga working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Milka is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Koga creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Milka sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Oh Milka is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Milka taking punishment in the form of punches.
Koga lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Milka down.
Koga cracks Milka with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Koga immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Milka is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Koga!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Toshika Koga! A pretty intense looking Toshika Koga took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title. The defeated Rico Milka had this to say: 'whaaaat ?'.
