Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vasko Madzarov (ranked 6 p4p, 13 weight class) and David Oneil (ranked 1 p4p, 3 weight class). Madzarov comes to the cage accompanied by UNDER THE BRIDGE. Oneil has chosen Metallica - Spit Out The Bone as his entrance music. David Oneil is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vasko Madzarov!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Oneil!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Madzarov looks to score with a jab to the body but Oneil is just out of range.
And Oneil tries to counter it with a takedown but Madzarov pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Madzarov looks to land a left hand but Oneil moved out of range nicely.
A telegraphed right hand from Madzarov misses the target.
Oneil with the counter takedown but Madzarov avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oneil blocks a jab.
Madzarov tries to land a front kick but Oneil steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
That's one minute gone in the round.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Oneil crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Madzarov - the referee stops the clock and Oneil gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Madzarov. Oneil manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Madzarov misses with a head kick.

and Oneil decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Madzarov's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Oneil wants to control from the top but Madzarov keeps moving.
Oneil forces his way into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Madzarov tries to kick Oneil off but Oneil keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Oneil seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Madzarov is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). David Oneil!
David Oneil is the new heavyweight champion!
