Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitry Boytsov (ranked 424 p4p, 269 weight class) and Joe Wick (ranked 63 p4p, 37 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wick closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wick takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Boytsov swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Wick.
Boytsov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wick defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Boytsov.

Boytsov drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wick dives on top into guard.

Boytsov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wick.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Boytsov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wick is aware though and is defending well.

Boytsov is trying to drag Wick to the mat but Wick just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Wick comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Wick drops Boytsov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Boytsov looks back up at him and smiles so Wick waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

BOOM! Wick lands a beautiful left hook that drops Boytsov. Boytsov tries to recover but Wick is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Boytsov lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
