The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beckley throws a sloppy head kick and Mcgee moves out of range easily.

Mcgee tried to score with a low kick but Beckley checks it.
Beckley moves out of range of the strikes.
Mcgee stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Benson Beckley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beckley bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Beckley has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Mcgee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Mcgee counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Beckley! He's just covering up as Mcgee starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
