Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bradley Rainey (ranked 680 p4p, 890 weight class) and Clint Rivers (ranked 89 p4p, 110 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Bradley Rainey has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bradley Rainey seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bradley Rainey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 26 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clint Rivers! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rivers uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rainey. Rivers lands a glancing blow to the side of Rainey's head. Rainey throws an off balance right hand
and Rivers counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Rainey definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Rainey cracks Rivers with a good jab. Rainey moves forwards but Rivers connects with a nice, crisp jab. Rivers digs a good hook to Rainey's body.
Rainey misses with an uppercut. Rivers saw that one coming. Rivers swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. A telegraphed right hand from Rainey misses the target. Rivers uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rainey. Rainey tries to clinch there but Rivers circles away.
A little jabbing left from Rivers on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Rivers throws a right and a left that both miss. Rivers lands a jab-cross combination. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rainey throws a jab when Rivers was well out of range. Bradley Rainey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rainey throws a poor cross that misses
and Rivers connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Rivers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Rainey jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Rivers throws a right and a left that both miss. Rivers scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rainey doesn't seem bothered though. A slow jab from Rainey misses its intended target. Rivers ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Rainey takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Rivers lands a lovely overhand right. Rivers throws a right hand that Rainey ducks under and follows up with a left that Rainey also avoids with ease. Rivers on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Rainey steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rivers. Rainey moves in looking to clinch but Rivers pushes him off. Rivers just misses with a punch to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rivers misses with a wild body shot.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Rivers ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Rainey misses the jab. Rainey misses the jab. Rivers is looking to clinch. Rivers uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rainey. Rivers walks into a left hand. Rainey takes one on the button. Rivers uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rainey. Rainey misses with a looping left. Rivers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rainey tries to counter with a takedown but Rivers is quick to defend against it. Rivers misses with a wild body shot. Rainey ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Rainey changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Rivers throws a body shot but no joy. Rivers throws out a loose jab but Rainey uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rainey shoots in and bounces Rivers off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Rivers has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Our spies down at at Roosters Coop inform us that Rivers has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Rivers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rivers is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Rainey postures up in Rivers's guard and throws a big left but Rivers blocks it. Rainey working some strikes from top position. Rivers looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Rainey missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rainey lands a couple of digs. Rivers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rainey wants to control from the top but Rivers keeps moving. Rivers keeping full guard, as Rainey tries to pass. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rivers is on top in guard.

Rainey is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Rivers preventing the sweep. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Clint Rivers dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Donk. Rivers catches Rainey right on the button with a cross. Rainey missing with a left hand there. Rivers was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A big right from Rivers misses. Rainey tries to counter with a takedown but Rivers is quick to defend against it. Rivers defending well as Rainey loads up on a big left hand. Rainey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rivers.
Rivers gets caught flat footed, as Rainey shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Rivers pushes Rainey off and scrambles back to his feet.
Rainey is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. The fighters circling - Rivers throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Rivers cracks Rainey with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rivers uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rainey. Rivers misses with a looping right. Rainey changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Rivers swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rivers with a jab. Rivers blocks a jab. Rivers staying out of range there.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Rivers jabs at Rainey's body. Rivers moves out of range of the strikes. Rainey rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rivers counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
 Rainey is rocked! Rivers has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Rivers darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Rainey's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Rivers before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Clint Rivers! After the big win, Clint Rivers made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Pulling Guard and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
