Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Pike (ranked 260 p4p, 414 weight class) and Samuel Sarinnen (ranked 21 p4p, 35 weight class). Pike comes to the cage accompanied by DMX - Intro. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christopher Pike! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Samuel Sarinnen! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sarinnen misses with the combination.
Sarinnen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sarinnen lands in his opponent's guard. Sarinnen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pike swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sarinnen keeps trying to improve his position. Sarinnen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Sarinnen trying to control but Pike is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pike controls Sarinnen momentarily but Sarinnen frees himself. Pike looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pike keeping full guard, as Sarinnen tries to pass. Sarinnen wants to control from the top but Pike keeps moving. Sarinnen tries to free his leg and advance position but Pike is retaining full guard. Pike might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Sarinnen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Pike is trying to control the position but Sarinnen postures up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Pike pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Pike definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Christopher Pike is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sarinnen fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Sarinnen scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sarinnen lands with a right hand. Pike connects with a leg kick. Nice body punch from Sarinnen. Samuel Sarinnen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sarinnen looks to score with a jab to the body but Pike is just out of range. Sarinnen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pike swivels and escapes. Pike fires out a quick counter leg kick but Sarinnen just manages to avoid it. Pike scores with a spinning back kick! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sarinnen looks to throw the jab but Pike is out of range. Sarinnen connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Pike ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Sarinnen misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Pike counters with a nice right hand that sends Sarinnen toppling to the canvas! Sarinnen scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Pike finish him?!
Sarinnen is rocked! Pike steps in with a hook that catches Sarinnen right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Pike follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Sarinnen looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Christopher Pike! Christopher Pike retains his bantamweight title! An out of breath Christopher Pike thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
