Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Dawkins (ranked 1392 p4p, 1797 weight class) and Joey Faolin (ranked 177 p4p, 226 weight class). Faolin has chosen It Ain’t a Crime by House of Pain as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Danny Dawkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joey Faolin!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faolin tries to bum rush Dawkins with a series of wild strikes but Dawkins uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dawkins scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Faolin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Faolin moves to clinch but Dawkins breaks away
and Dawkins counters with a takedown into side control.
Dawkins has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Faolin in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Dawkins lands a nice shot to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dawkins won't let Faolin get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
The referee warns Faolin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

After winning the bout, Danny Dawkins thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
