Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kaleb Estrada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Finley Cowan!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Estrada tries to bum rush Cowan with a series of wild strikes but Cowan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Estrada lands a two punch combo.
Some wild striking there from Estrada.
Estrada swinging wildly here.
Cowan wants to counter with a clinch but Estrada pushes him away.
Estrada throws a right hand that Cowan ducks under and follows up with a left that Cowan also avoids with ease.
Estrada shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Cowan eats them both and turns towards Estrada to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Estrada fails in his attempt to clinch.
Cowan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Cowan stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Estrada to get to his feet.

Cowan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Estrada quickly recovers to half guard.

Estrada is in trouble now - Cowan has advanced to mount!
Cowan works his way to his opponent's back.
Cowan keeps control of the position easily here as Estrada tries to buck him off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cowan lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Cowan is cranking Estrada's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Estrada! He's tightened the choke and Estrada is tapping out!
